XBox 360 number 3

No.1 wouldn’t read discs anymore, and starting putting serious scratches in them, after about a year. Good thing the vinyl being regrooved was the suck-a-licious Fusion Frenzy 2. Support gave me a new console.

No. 2 was fine for a year, now its ROL is RROD’ing fairly often. (ROTFLCOPTER BTW.) That’s supported under the 3-year warranty extension.

Support has done well by me so far. Let’s see what No. 3 is like.

  1. We got it back… with an apology and a 1-month XBox Live subscription… no charge to me whatsoever… and it seems to be working great. (It has the same serial # so I know it’s the same box this time; I don’t know what was actually fixed.)

  2. Ahh the battle of keeping your XBox alive for more then a year. Have gone through a couple now. They are always the 3 rings of death. My friends XBox has done that now and the warranty is over so we are thinking of the towel trick. Have you tried that yet.
